Inishowen’s Damien Faulkner returned to sportscar racing in Florida at the weekend.
At the Rolex 24 hours in Daytona, the first round of the all new IMSA Championship, Damien’s team GB Autosports ended the endurance race in 25th place after a difficult opening weekend.
They lost alot of time early in the race after Damien’s Porsche was hit from behind and he ended up in the wall.
While driving in the first session Damien lead the race and was in the top ten before being hit.
