Declan and Brian Boyle have won the Donegal International Rally and have become the first all winning Donegal partnership for 31 years.
The Lettermacaward crew driving a Subaru wrc came home 34.5 seconds ahead of Sam Moffett and James O’Reilly to be the first all county winners since Vincent Bonner and Seamus McGettigan in 1983.
2012 winner Garry Jennings was third with Derek McGarrity fourth and the top five was rounded off by group n winner Josh Moffett.
Gary McPhilips and Paul Sheridan successfully defended the crown they won last year by taking the top honour in the National Rally.
The Monaghan boys took the lead on the first stage this morning after Daniel McKenna suffered problems.
After 20 stages they had over a minute to spare to take back to back titles in Donegal.
Letterkenny’s Conor Harvey and Gerard Callaghan took 2nd in the national with Co. Tyrone’s Frank Kelly and Liam Brennan 3rd.
