Muldoon & Stapleton World Cup bound

The Ireland Women’s squad named for the forthcoming IRB Women’s Rugby World Cup in France has two Donegal girls among the 26 selected.
Ballybofey’s Larissa Muldoon who plays with Bristol and Fahan’s Nora Stapleton who is tied with Old Belvedere have been included in the 13 backs.
Both girls were part of the Irish team which won the Six Nation in 2013.
Ireland are in Pool B alongside USA, New Zealand and Kazakhstan with their first game against the Americans on Friday 1st August.
Meanwhile Head Coach Philip Doyle has announced he will step down from his position after the World Cup.
