It’s claimed that a fire started deliberately in the Ballycolman Estate in Strabane last night could have killed.
A wheelie Bin was set alight next to an empty property in the area – a neighbour was alerted to the fire by a barking dog and the fire service was called.
Local Councillor Patsy Kelly says the fire was then brought quickly under control but added that the situation could have had tragic consequences:
