Jason Quigley introduced himself to the America boxing public on Saturday night with a impressive first round stoppage what was his first professional fight of his boxing career.
He defeated Florida’s Howard Reese in 1 minute 22 seconds of round one of the contest held at the iconic MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

It was an impressive performance from the 23 year-old from Ballybofey who said in a post fight press conference: “I’m proud of my performance tonight, it was great to be on the biggest stage tonight” He added: “I’m here to let the American people know who Jason Quigley is.”
The fight was on the under-card of the much anticipated fight between Canelo Alvarez and Erislandy Lara which the Mexican won on a split decision.
A number of fans and family members travelled from Donegal to Las Vegas to support Quigley who is expected to step up in class for his next fight in the coming weeks.
