Donegal’s Karl Griffin hoping to impress at World Juniors

Donegal’s Karl Griffin runs in the 800m on Friday at the World Junior Championships in Oregon, USA.
The Tir Chonaill runner takes to the track at 8.50pm Irish time for his heat.
Karl who has completed his first year of study and athletics scholarship at UCD won the Irish Junior 800m title in impressive style in June.
Heading into Friday’s competition, Griffin is ranked as 3rd European and 11th on the World athlete list at Under 20.
The Irish team is coached by Finn Valley’s Neil Martin.
