The Education Minister has said that a new school campus for Buncrana is inching closer.
The new school campus will house two secondary schools and one primary school on a single site.
It’s understood that the site that has been identified by the Donegal Education and Training Board is located on an approximately ten acre site at Magherinture off the Aghilly road.
The issue was raised in the Dail by Donegal Deputy Charlie McConalgue:
Responding, Minister Jan O Sullivan said a site was currently under consideration, but a definite timeframe could not be given:
