Temperatures set to plummet in Co Donegal tonight

Gardai have issued a warning to motorists to slow down as many roads this afternoon are in slippy conditions.
Frequent wintry showers of sleet, hail and snow have affected many parts of the north and west of the county.
Meanwhile Met Eireann has warned it will get very cold tonight with temperatures dropping to as low as -4 degrees.
Motorists are being advised to drive with extreme care tonight and tomorrow morning.
