Rory Kavanagh has retired from Inter County football.
The 32 year old All Ireland winning midfielder has decided to hang up the boots after 14 years playing for Donegal.
Rory told the Donegal Democrat he didn’t feel he could give it the full commitment because of family and work.
The news of Kavanagh’s retirement will be a blow to new Donegal Manager Rory Gallagher.
The St Eunan’s captain who won a sixth club Senior Championship title in November made his Donegal debut in 2001 against Cork in the league and went on to make 132 appearances in the green and gold lifting the Sam Maguire in 2012 and three Ulster titles.
