Mark English Donegal Sport Star 2014

Mark English was named Donegal Sport Star of the Year on Friday night at the Donegal Sport Star Awards in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny.
Mark won a dramatic 800m bronze at the European Championships last summer in Zurich, Switzerland.
It was Ireland’s first ever medal in the two lap event at any major outdoor championship.
Another athlete Karl Griffen of Tir Chonail Ac was honoured as Young Sports Person of the Year.
The team of the year was All Ireland Senior Ladies Champions Termon while Termon’s Francis Friel was named Manager of the Year
Neil McGee, Seamus Coleman, Geraldine McLaughlin, Nora Stapleton, Michael Gallagher, Ciara Grant and Declan and Brian Boyle were among the other award winners.
