Sinn Féin Councillor Liam Doherty has announced he is to raise a motion during the next sitting of Donegal County Council calling on the local authority to recognise the tourism potential of Drumboe Woods in Stranorlar.
Cllr Doherty says the forest has potential to more of a recreational site and an amenity for the locality.
Speaking to Highland Radio News, Cllr Doherty says there is an opportunity to develop the site further in a bid to make it into a major tourist attraction for the Finn Valley Area:
