Farmers and landowners affected by the designation of a Special Conservation Area from Falcarragh to Meenlaragh are seeking a meeting with Arts and Heritage Minister Heather Humphries to seek a number of exemptions.
Following a meeting with MInister Joe Mc Hugh and discussions with representatives of the National Parks and Wildlife Service, local people believe a compromise is possible whereby local people can build homes for themselves, while preventing holiday home and commercial developments.
