Derry rally condemns Red Star shooting

As police renew their appeal for infiormation about the shooting of a Derry businessman in his shop this week, a rally has taken place condemning the shooting.
53 year-old Raymond Coyle is in a stable condition after being shot three times in the legs in his shop “Red Star” on Waterloo Street at about 5.30pm on Wednesday evening. The shop sells so called legal highs, and its’s believed that may be why Mr Coyle was targetted.
SDLP Cllr John Tierney told today’s rally if there are issues about what is being legally sold, then Stormont and Westminister are the places to rectify that.
He says the gun has been rejected by the community.
