Councillor not giving up on Greencastle Harbour project

The County Manager is to travel to Dublin to discuss with the relevant authorities the status of the Greencastle Harbour Project.
The government has shelved the project claiming the reason for the decision is that Donegal County Council has not provided its share of funding for the 30 million euro project.
At a meeting in Lifford today the county manager confirmed the council owes the government 900 thousand euro and that a series of meetings have and will be held with government on the issue.
Greencastle Councillor Martin Farren says that while the project is still in major doubt he is more optimistic now:
