Donegal projects to share heritage funding

The government is earmarking 11-and-a-half million euro for the restoration and upkeep of historical buildings.
Minister for the Environment John Gormley is announcing the funding and says over 4 million will go to the Office of Public Works. Newmills outside Letterkenny is the only Donegal project under OPW control to be included.
More than 3 million will go to local authorities for conserving protected structures, 89,000 of it to Donegal County Council.
