A group, aimed at abolishing South Donegal of its drug and alcohol abuse problem was set up in Donegal Town last night.
It was agreed at the meeting that local community groups should try and help fight against drug and alcohol abuse.
The group hope to bring together all those affected or concerned by drug and alcohol addiction in South Donegal.
Last nights meeting was organised by the Donegal Family Resource Centre.
Chairman Jim McLaughlin said the taskforce is much needed in South Donegal.
