Donegal cases accounted for over 1.4 million euro recouped by the taxman in settlements with defaulters.
In total, across the county, just short of 29 million euro was collected in taxes, interest and panalties.
In the 3 month period to 31st December 2009, there were 88 published settlements, ten of which were in Donegal.
They related to a variety of issues, including bogus non resident account holders, investigations into offshore funds and single premium insurance products.
The biggest single settlement in Donegal was for 360 thousand euro by Tom Diver, a company director, landlord and farmer from West End Ardara.
Des Fahety, a fisherman, landlord and company director settled with revenue for almost 244 thousand euro,  a payment of 262 rhousand was made by Hugh Elliot, landlord and company director from College Road, Letterkenny.
S.A.R.K. Construction LTD, based at Ballaghderg, Letterkenny made a settlement of almost 197 thousand euro – Electrical Agent and Landlord Michael Carr, from Kilcar settled for 178 thousand euro.
