Derry City 2 v 0 Finn Harps
Derry City remain top of the First Division of the League of Ireland after their win on Tuesday Night against North West rivals Finn Harps at the Brandywell. James McClean broke the deadlock in the 45th minute and then David McDaid took advantage of some poor defending to score the second in the 51st minute. With Waterford Utd playing out a scoreless draw with Athlone Town, Derry lead the standings by three points. Harps are eight in the table fourteen points behind Derry.
