Donegal Democrat 06/05/10
By Tom Comack

U-21 players Paddy McGrath, Kevin Mulhern, Dermot ‘Brick’ Molloy and Mark McHugh have been drafted into the Donegal senior squad by John Joe Doherty and could be in the team to face Down in the championship. All four got the call this week from the Donegal boss following their impressive displays in Donegal’s run to last Saturday night’s All-Ireland final defeat by Dublin and the manager speaking to the Democrat this week did not rule out the possibly of adding a few more of the U-21s to his panel.
“I have spoken to the boys and they have been invited to join the panel. I may bring in a few more of the team; it is just a matter of taking stock of the existing squad and checking out the availability of a number of the lads that are on the long term injured list,” explained the Donegal boss.
