It’s emerged that the “Donegal Live” tourism showcase could be brought to Glasgow, Belfast and other areas if tomorrow’s debut in Dublin’s Temple Bar is a success.
‘Donegal Live’ kicks off at Meeting House Square tomorrow between 12noon and 6pm, with a host of local personalities and musicians there to promote Donegal as a tourist destination. The event has been backed with an intensive campaign of advertising and promotion in the national media.
The initiative is the brainchild of former Donegal Person of the Year, John Carr.
Paul Mc Loone of Failte Ireland North West says they’re hopeful for a major turn-out tomorrow and if the event proves successful, hopes are high that ‘Donegal Live’ could travel farther afield…..
