British soldiers who killed 14 demonstrators in Derry on Bloody Sunday committed “unjustified and unjustifiable” acts.
That’s the finding of Lord Saville’s 12-year investigation into the events in 1972.
His report says those killed were unarmed and innocent, and it also accuses troops of covering up the truth.
Taoiseach Brian Cowen told the Dail that the truth has now won out……….

Thousands gathered in Guildhall Square this afternoon to hear the details of the report being revealed to the House of Commons by British Prime MInister David Cameron.
A huge cheer erupted in Guildhall Square in Derry as Mr Cameron delivered the findings which unequivocally blamed the Army for one of the most controversial days in Northern Ireland’s history.
