Fury as Farren family’s address to Oireachtas committee cut short

It has emerged that three families, including the Farren’s from Donegal, had their time before the Oireachtas Committee on Transport cut short because TD’s had to leave to vote on the Stag Bill.

Sean Ferren addressed the committee slamming the Council and the Gardai for their lack of action following the death of his daughter Sinead McDaid 9 years ago.

She lost her life when the car she was skidded on a temporary road surface in Culdaff and crashed.

Mr Farren along with two other families who lost loved ones were before the committee on transport and had a number of recommendations.

However their address was cut short so TD’s could take part in a Dail vote.
