Last nights rioting in Derry “worst in a decade”

The police have said the rioting in the Bogside last night and in the early hours of this morning was the “worst in a decade” in Derry.
A masked gunman fired shots at police shortly after 1 o clock this morning.
Petrol bombs were thrown at a police patrol car which was on fire when a gunman appeared and fired five shots at the vehicle from a handgun.
The PSNI have said they believe dissident republican were behind the attacks.
Foyle MLA, Martina Anderson, believes those involved where not from the Bogside and Brandywell areas.
