UUP says Derry people afraid to speak out against attacks

An Ulster Unionist MLA has expressed his concern that there doesn’t seem to be a co-ordinated campaign from the PSNI to tackle the escalation in Dissident Republican activity.
Basil McCrea, the party’s spokesperson on policing says there is mounting concern in Derry at recent events – this week a two hundred pound bomb was detonated outside Strand Road Police Station.
Mr McCrea says business and communities leaders are afraid to speak in Derry for fear of being targeted.
