15 Australian students have travelled half way across the world to study Irish in Donegal.
Classes and summer schools are held regularly in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra but this year, for the first time, 15 enthusiasts are spending a fortnight in Glencolmcille attending classes with Oideas Gael.
One of them is Barney Devlin, originally from Ireland but now living in Australia – he says the Donegal visit has come of the back of years of planning:
