The HSE has been called on to immediately give an update on the future of the Lifford Community Hospital following reports the executive has confirmed the Rock Hospital in Ballyshannon is to be retained.
Councillor Barry O’Neill says he has been assured by HSE management that the current staff levels and services at the Rock Hospital will be maintained for at least the next three years.
Now the Mayor of Donegal, Councillor Cora Harvey, is looking for similar assurances over the Lifford facility.
