Military helicopters are searching for dozens of missing people after flash floods in Australia left 11 people dead.
Queensland’s state Premier says 78 others are still unaccounted for – and they have grave fears for at least 18 of them.
A torrent of water is still spreading towards Brisbane – the country’s third largest city – where thousands are being evacuated from their homes.
A number of Donegal people living in Brisbane were evacuated this morning, and 15 of them have now gathered in a friend’s house on high ground on the outskirts of Brisbane.
