Man accused of charges through Facebook back in custody

A 22-year-old Limavady man alleged to have set up a bogus model agency site on Facebook in order to entice teenage girls to pose naked for him is back in custody after an apparent breach of his bail conditions.
Scott Joseph Tootill of Meadowvale Park, Limavady who was charged with five counts of causing or inciting child prostitution or pornography and one count of facilitating the commission of sex offences against a child on dates between March 17 and April 14 has appeared again at Derry Magistrates Court.
A Detective Constable told the court that on March 24, police were contacted by social services who told them a 15-year-old girl had been contacted through a model agency on Facebook and invited to have her photos taken either topless or in her underwear.
Details then emerged of three other girls, one aged 13, the others 15, contacted through Facebook by the  Sandra Green Agency, and invited to pose for ‘galmour’ pictures involving ‘topless’ poses.
On March 30 the defendant’s home was searched and he was interviewed about the alleged offences.
He admitted setting up the Sandra Green Agency on Facebook but denied enticing them to have indecent images taken. He was released on police bail.
However, earlier this month, police discovered that the Sandra Green Agency had been set up on a different website. Tootill was arrested for being in breach of his bail conditions which forbid any contact with under 16s.
There was no bail application and he was remanded in custody to appear again by videolink on May 5.
