Hundreds of people took part in a clean-up operation across Inishowen on Saturday.
The Peninsula’s seven Councillors came up with the idea a number of weeks ago with the public, sport clubs, community groups and residents associations asked to take part.
The Mayor of Buncrana says they were overwhelmed with the level of support for the clean-up, Michael Grant is now appealing to the public not to litter:
