Badminton – Good weekend for Magee in Denmark

Donegal’s Chole Magee caught the eye of many after giving fantastic displays to beat off stiff competiton and reaching the semi finals of the FZ Forza International event in Denmark. Magee did not have an easy run in her 1st game against number 4 seed Susan Egelstaff but came through to reach the last 16. The Raphoe lady then defeated Martens(Den) and Cann(Eng) but was beaten by Italy’s Agnesee Allegrini 21-10 and 21-18 in the semi final. The action at the weekend marked the start of her Olympic qualifying campaign for London 2012.
