Arts practicioners in Donegal say they’ve had constructive meetings withs newly elected TDs and Senators in the county. Meetings took place at An Grianan Theatre in Letterkenny and the Balor Arts Centre in Ballybofey today, as part of a series of “meet and greet” sessions taking place around the country.
Speaking after the Letterkenny meeting, An Grianan Theatre’s Marketting Manager Daithi Ramsey said after they were briefed on the significant contribution made to the economy by the arts, the politicians who attended today’s meeting expressed their support.
He believes the arts in Donegal will have elequent advocates in the Oireachtas………….
