Derry City have dropped three points behind leaders Shamrock Rovers after Friday nights one all draw with Bray Wanderers at the Brandywell. Derry went one up on 25 minutes when Patrick Mc Eleney scored from close range to give the Candystrips the advantage. Bray were level on 67 minutes thanks to a 30 yard effort from Darragh Doyle. The visitors could have snatched the win near the end but missed two late chances. With Shamrock Rovers beating Drogheda 3-0, Derry now trail the leaders by three points. Silgo Rovers could overtake Derry in second place on Saturday night if they beat Galway United.
