Athletics – 4 from North West on European team

Irish athletics team manager Patsy mc Gonagle has included 4 north west athletes in the team for the European cup meeting in Izmir. Turkey  will host the event on June 18th and 19th. Jason smyth of City of Derry will run the 100m, Mary mc Loone of Tirconaill ac will compete in triple jump, Finn Valley’s national record holder Tori Pena will compete in the pole vault and Darren Mc Brearty Letterkenny is to run the 800m.
