Two dogs shot after attack on sheep

It’s emerged today that two roaming German Shepherd dogs were shot dead yesterday as they attacked a flock of sheep on the outskirts of Annagry village.
The daylight attack on the main Annagry to Crolly road left three sheep dead.
A passing motorist witnessed the attack and immediately alerted locals who contacted the famer and he rushed to the scene with a number of locals. Within a short time and as the vicious attack continued both dogs had been shot dead by a local man.
Gardaí were alerted, and it’s understood they have identified the owners of the dogs.
