Donegal’s Leo McLoone is set to miss the Ulster final after sustaining broken bones in his face during the mass brawl which happened directly after Noamh Conaill’s one point defeat to Glenswilly in the senior club championship on Sunday. Donegal assistant manager Rory Gallagher has confirmed today that McLoone will require surgery and he will miss the Ulster decider against Derry in Clones on 17th July. This is another blow for the Glenties player who had just returned from a broken ankle.
With Noamh Conaill the defending champions now out of the championship, the Quarter Final draw which was made on Sunday evening shows some interesting ties.
