UPDATE: Armed robbery at post office in St Johnston

An armed man has robbed a post office in St Johnston within 18 seconds this morning.
The masked man went into the branch with a handgun at around 9.15am and made off with a small amount of cash.
He fled in a blue car being driven by another man.
No shots were fired and nobody was hurt.
A Garda spokesman said the man was in and out of the branch in 18 seconds.
Meanwhile, we understand gardai are investigating a second incident in the Ballybofey area. It is thought a private home may have been targeted in a robbery.
Gardai are due to update the situation later this afternoon.
