Poice treating Tyrone hit and run as attempted murder

A hit-and-run crash in which a man was knocked down and seriously injured is being treated as attempted murder, police have said.
The 36 year old was struck by a vehicle on the Gortgonis Road, Coalisland, at half past 10 last night. He is critically ill in hospital.
The driver did not stop at the scene. Police are looking for a silver Vauxhall Corsa, reg: NHZ 6376.
They said it would have obvious damage. They have appealed for information.
