Quarter of people in Donegal admit travelling with drunk driver

One in four people in Donegal have travelled with a drunk driver in the past two years according to a new survey.
A quarter of people from the county who took part in an AA Insurance Poll carried out this month said they knowingly took a lift with a driver they understood to be over the legal limit.
According to the poll 25.4% people in Donegal got into a car when they knew the driver had been drinking.
Donegal had the second highest rate in the country, only behind Monaghan, 31% of people there had gotten into a car knowingly with a drunk driver.
