Donegal County Councillor Brendan Byrne to quit Fianna Fail

Donegal County Councillor Brendan Byrne has confirmed that he is considering quitting the Fianna Fail Party.
The former Mayor said he will make his decision on Monday.
Cllr Byrne told Highland Radio News this morning that he is dissillusioned with the Michael Martins decision not to run a Fianna Fail candidate in the presidential election.
He is now going to speak with his suppporters over the weekend, and then he’ll decide whether to remain in the party or not.
