The Mayor of Donegal says the success of towns and villages in this years Tidy Town’s competition must be complimented by a crack down on illegal dumping in more rural areas.
Mayor Noel McBride has praised all involved in Donegal’s success in the Tidy Towns competition, the results of which where announces yesterday.
Letterkenny, Buncrana , Glenties,Malin and Doochary were amongst category winners.
However Mayor McBride says efforts must also be made to keep the whole county clean, and Donegal County Council is working hard to do so:
