Bundoran Town Council is to bring forward a special meeting to discuss the issue of derelict buildings in the town after one of them was targeted in an arson attack at the weekend.
The vacant premises was damaged in the West End of the town at approximately 1.10am in the early hours of yesterday morning, it is thought the same people smashed a window of a van at around the same time.
Two males were seen fleeing the area.
The Mayor of Bundoran Michael McMahon has condemned those responsible; he says it highlights the need to address the derelict building issue in the town:
