Man sustained collapsed lung in Carndonagh party stabbing

A man is recovering at Altnagelvin Hospital  after a stabbing incident on Friday night at a party in Carndonagh.
He was stabbed four times with a kitchen knife, sustaining serious injuries. He was rushed to Altnagelvin Hospital with a collapsed lung, and was in a critical condition for much of Saturday. However, gardai say his condition stabalised yesterday.
A 24 year old man was arrested at the scene on Friday night ; he’s been released without charge pending a file to the DPP.
