Deputy Doherty slams government for appointments to state boards

The government is under fire over the appointment of large numbers of Fine Gael and Labour insiders to State boards.
Since coming into office, at least 20 past or present members of either government party, or those with close links, have been given jobs.
Siobhan McLaughlin, a Labour candidate in Donegal South-West in 2007, has been appointed to the board of Pobal.
