GAA – McGinley Gutted After Glenswilly Ulster Exit

Glenswilly’s Ulster Club Championship dream came to an end on Sunday in Ballybofey. The Donegal Champions lost out in their provincial quarter final to Monaghan kingpins Latton 0-10 to 0-9. With the game entering the closing minutes Latton lead by four points. The Glen men kicked to bring back the deficit throwing caution to the wind and bravely scored three unanswered points. In a tense finish the Donegal side couldn’t repeat the heroics of the Cavan Gaels win and it was Latton who progressed into the semi final.
On reflection 2011 has been a brilliant year for Glenswilly but Manager John McGinley was disappointed with Sunday’s defeat.
