Met Eireann is warning that there will be extremely windy conditions again tonight.
The West and North of the country will be among the areas worst affected by the adverse weather – which has caused some travel disruption today.
Siobhan Ryan of Met Eireann says conditions will remain extremely windy this evening and tonight.
But she says we will see an ease in conditions towards the end of the week.
