Pringle welcomes HSE investigation into Killybegs drowning

Donegal South West Deputy Thomas Pringle says the HSE investigation into the death of local man Paddy Keeny in Killybegs must be allowed take it’s course.
87 year old Mr Keeny’s body was found in the harbour on Friday, he had gone missing from the local community hospital that morning.
Speaking this afternoon, Deputy Pringle said if systems are required to prevent a patient leaving the hospital they need to be put in place without delay……


Mr Keeny was buried today, as was 50 year old Michael McIntyre of Malin Beg, Glencolmcille, whose body was also found in the water near Killybegs Pier on Friday afternoon during the search for Mr Keeney.
