Canadian Ambassador to further strengthen ties with Donegal

The Canadian Ambassador arrives in Donegal tomorrow for a four day visit during which increasing commercial ties between Canada and the Northwest will be discussed.
Donegal and Canada already have commercial ties through fishing with efforts ongoing to maximise that sector and to further improve tourism links.
During his visit Loyola Hearn will visit Downings and Carrigart – the Mayor of the County Noel McBride has also invited him to lay a wreath at the site of the Lorenthic Gun.
