Surgical clinic cancelled at Letterkenny General Hospital this morning

The surgical clinic has been cancelled at Letterkenny General Hospital this morning after what’s been described as unprecedented numbers attending A&E overnight.
Dr.Couses clinic has been cancelled, but Fracture Clinics will go ahead as normal.
The 20 bed overflow ward is full, with five patients on trolleys in casualty and six patients on trolleys in the outpatients.
People are being urged not to attend A&E if it’s an emergency.
