Slight decrease in Donegal’s Live Register numbers

There were 21,567 people siging on the live register in Donegal at the end of last month, down 268 on January 2011, and practically unchanged since December.
The numbers signing on rose in two of the county’s social welfare officers in the year since January 2011, while the biggest year on year decrease was in Buncrana, where the number on the register fell by 227.
Below are the number of claimants in each office at the end of January, with the 12 month percentage change since January 2011.
