The funeral takes place later of the 24-year-old Derry man shot dead at his home in Buncrana on Thursday.
Andrew Allen, a father of two from the Top of the Hill area of Derry, died after a number of shots were fired through the window of his home.
He will be buried after Requiem Mass at Long Tower in Derry on Monday.
Meanwhile the Justice Minister is being urged to make border security a priority following the murder.
Gardai believe as many as three men travelled across the border to carry out the attack.
Mr Allen had been living in Buncrana since reportedly being ordered to leave his native Derry by republican dissidents six months ago.
Donegal North-East TD, Joe McHugh raised the issue with the Justice Minister – he says he wouldn’t be in favour of checkpoints returning, but tighter controls are needed:
